Advanced Technology Helping People...

We believe the answer to combating addictions, whether tobacco or food, is a Multi-Phasic approach involving the following components:

* Relieving the physical need for the substance without using a drugs, patches or other stimuli.
* Dealing with the Psychological aspect in such a way (transfer of knowledge) that it promotes an addiction free lifestyle.
* Supporting the body nutritionally to rid it of toxic chemicals and aid the body in quickly repairing damage.

Experience Laser utilizes a Cold Laser to stimulate specific energy points in the ear, face, and hands relating to the addiction. Treatment with the laser helps to promote the release of endorphins in the body. Endorphins are the body's natural chemicals which help you keep calm and relaxed making it easier to cope with the addiction, withdrawal symptoms, and cravings that arise from giving up nicotine.

Our therapists educate and counsel you during your sessions. You will be given the knowledge on how to deal with your new lifestyle change once and for all.

Experience Laser also using Hypnotherapy to teach the mind/body how to respond appropriately to the natural ideas of being naturally thin, a natural non-smoker, pain free and to control stress. Hypnotherapy can address any underlying issues that might be of concern, especially to pain of an unknown origin.

Our mission here is clear...
We want you or a loved one to be free for life!

What is Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)?

LLLT is the application of a cold laser light to treat numerous conditions. It has been studied for over 30 years and is now commonly used worldwide to successfully treat many kinds of musculoskeletal injuries, repetitive stress injuries and for acupoint therapies because it promotes healing and tissue repair. LLLT has also been found to be an extremely successful treatment for alcohol & drug addiction, weight control, and smoking cessation.

Is LLLT safe?
Cold lasers are called "cold" because they do not induce any thermal temperature rising of the tissues. LLLT is a safe, painless and medication-free treatment with virtually no negative side effects. It has been used in England, Canada and Europe for over 20 years with no documented adverse side effects. Laser therapy is a non-medical procedure and is respected by many physicians as a highly effective treatment. Countless patients are raving about their successful treatment.

Seizures/Epilepsy - If you have a history of seizures or are taking anti-seizure medication you should not have treatments with a light based device. Flashing lights may trigger a seizure.

How does LLLT work? (Low Level Laser Therapy)
The laser light easily penetrates through the layers of your skin to activate healing responses by your cells and to stimulate your nerve endings to produce endorphins. Endorphins such as serotonin and dopamine are produced naturally by your body and are nature's natural mood lifters and anesthetic. The endorphin production relieves the physical withdrawal symptoms of quitting smoking and helps keep you from feeling anxious or moody. LLLT quickly helps to activate the body’s innate cellular communication system and positive immune, enzyme and endorphin response.

What's the history of Cold Laser Therapy?
The first paper, published in 1967, demonstrating that cells in culture can be stimulated by certain dosages of non-thermal laser light was written by Professor Endre Mester of Budapest. The same year Dr. Carney demonstrated an increase in collagen production in skin wounds with the same kind of laser.
Since then, there are more than 100 double-blind positive studies confirming the clinical effect of cold laser therapy. More than 2500 research reports are published. More than 90% of these studies do verify the clinical value of laser therapy.

Basic Laser Physics (in case you wanted to know more)

In order to clarify how low-level laser therapy affects the body, it is necessary to review basic laser physics and developmental anatomy.

Laser means Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation and was first theorized by Einstein. In 1960 Miaman developed the first laser, a ruby laser. This was a tube laser with a metal chamber, which contained the element ruby. When an electrical current excites the enclosed element, the atoms give off photons or packets of light energy. The photons bounced off a solid mirror on one end of the tube and out holes in the mirror on the other end of the tube. This light beam is unlike regular light in that it is coherent i.e., the photons are well ordered and synchronized. Laser light is also monochromatic, meaning it is of one pure color.

Low level lasers are used everywhere in our society, such as bar code check out, laser printers, compact disc players and for many medical procedures. In fact, without lasers, our society and economy as we see it today would collapse.

World-wide studies have shown that laser energy is accumulative as well as cascading and reduces pain and inflammation via:

1. Bio-stimulation and photo-stimulation.
2. Endogenous opiate production
3. Slowing sensory nerve production.
4. Restoring cellular resonant energy.
5. Stimulating the Na/K pump mechanism in the cell membrane.
6. Inhibiting bradykinin & leukotriene production.

Osmosis, a scientific fact taught in all grade and high school science classes, states that no nutrient can transfer across the depolarized membrane of an injured cell. One of the most important functions of low level laser therapy is to re-polarize sick and injured cellular membranes. This allows for essential nutrients to transfer from the blood into the cell. Research has shown that low level laser therapy can increase cellular ATP (body fuel) by as much as 150%.

Comparison of Cold Laser, Acupuncture, Ultrasound, Tens Therapies and Hypnosis

The following table compares several "alternative" therapies and tries to make distinctions for each technology. All these therapies are appropriate for some patients and all should be considered for dealing with special health issues. The information is presented here for general purposes. You should consult a local practitioner to help select the best therapy for your specific health problems.

Benefits
Increase circulation, faster healing. May reduce inflammation. May permanently eliminate acute and chronic pain
Increase circulation, faster healing. May permanently eliminate acute and chronic pain
High-energy sound waves penetrate deep into tissue to cause tissue/muscle warming, increased vessel vasodilatation and increase circulation. Short-term changes in cell membrane permeability.
The electrical currents produce a mild current that can prevent pain messages from being transmitted to the brain. May raise the level of endorphins (natural pain killers produced by the brain).
Faciliates the healing response through relaxation and visualization
Tissues Affected
Absorbed by all tissues including skin, subcutaneous, tendons, muscles, nerves and blood
Direct tissue contact, may result in bruising and bleeding
Absorbed by white connective tissue
Muscle tissue only

There is significant overlap between these therapies. In some cases, it may be best to use more than one therapy to maximize healing and shorted your recovery period. Always consult a professional when evaluating therapy options including cold laser therapy.
